How we help those in our community

By bringing our dogs to schools, libraries and other venues, we are able to share the healing power of these amazing animals. Being with our dogs helps both children and adults release stress, heal from emotional traumas, and simply feel better. There is never a charge for our visits – we simply love sharing our dogs with others.

Community Events

We often attend community events around Cape Cod, building awareness of our mission and collecting money for local charities, such as The Family Pantry of Cape Cod.

The Lily House has a mission to provide around-the-clock hospice-level care in a peaceful, compassionate, and contemplative environment where terminally ill residents can live and die with dignity, comfort, and grace while being cared for with love—at no cost to those in need.

On behalf of the Lily House I want to thank Hearts and Paws for their very successful fundraising on our behalf.  We are very grateful for the funds and the publicity. Spreading the word is so important to our mission.

Renovations began this week!  We are hoping to have our first residents by Spring.

We look forward to future community events and especially your teams coming to visit and give comfort to our residents and their families.

We are always looking to reach out to the community, so if you know of a place or group that would benefit from a visit by well-behaved, loving dogs, please contact us.
