New Members
Receive new member information.
Arrange for new member to shadow an existing team until they are comfortable.
If no suitable location is available, send request to Visitation Committee as to type of site and location/times preferences suit them. After a suitable location has been found (or already exists), create team: Handler/Dog and Spotter. Make initial contact with site. Get name of contact person, coordinate with Dog Team regarding location, time, type of visit needed and contact person. Set up first visit, take team to meet contact.
Log Team assignment.
Inform either Secretary or webmaster to add new visits to Google Calendar.
Ongoing
Monitor visits and handle any scheduling changes as necessary.
Check that both Dog Team and visitation site are feeling that things are going well.
Update Google Calendar with Secretary or webmaster as needed.
